That's the question!

I know a number of you came over here during the various mass bannings from other forums. But there are newer members that have joined for their own reasons! So, being nosy, we are curious as to what brought you all here!

And as always - WELCOME!!

Andy

For me, it was spillover chatter from the other place a couple of years ago. Then, I was granted a short vacation by Mr Mojo.(Thanks Frank) That got me over here for a week. That's when I also found Digital and CorvetteFlorida. So that's how y'all got stuck with me.

After I bought my 92 coupe I did an online search for anything about Corvettes and came across Digital Corvettes. They had a lot of info and being rather friendly, I hung around. One of the posts recommended C4guru.com as a good source for C4 enthusiasts. I lurked for awhile here then joined. It felt comfortable like the local garage hangout on Saturday night where you can have fun and learn a bit. Interesting people with a good sense of humor. I still cruise around DC but I consider this home. :thumbright:

Then started hanging out here more when the other place pissed me off with there in your face advertising. It so bad now I can't even go over there from work cause most of it is blocked by the filters.

HMmmmm....How did I hear about it?...hmmmmmm thats a good one.

Well, we all appreciate those that have stuck with us through the years. It has been a slow growth. It is really hard to compete with the "Big Dogs" but now that they are growing old its our time to shine!

I was being constantly spammed in my e-mail about this place so I decided to join just to make the e-msils stop.

Really someone on DC mentioned it and being a C-4 guy I thought a place of our own would be cool so I joined up. I don't offer much in content but I do check in alot.

I first found out about this forum from the buyer's guide Andy had on the other site. But I did not really start posting here until I was an owner. No sense making a total nuisance of myself on two Vette sites.

But what pushed me to hang my hat here were the popup ads in my posts for the Dale Earnhart thing that they were advertising on the other forum. I understand that advertising allows free forums to exist. Hell, I make TV commercials for a living! But I loath NASCAR in general, and Dale in particular. And for a website to forcefully link something I wrote to that sport, and that man really pissed me off.

Then the mass bannings started, and that was about it.

When the site was first developed, I saw it mentioned at Corvette Forum. I visited here at that time but never was active. I didn't sign up here until the shit hit the fan over at CF. I just couldn't hang there without all of the guys I was accustomed to reading and discussing stuff with.
Recently I went over to Cf a couple of times and don't recognize a lot of people.
