i just replaced my egr pipe , i put a new clamp around both pipes but it seems like i have a small exhaust leak. (i hear a small sound like ticking now) do you recommend something i can cover where the pipe connects to the manifold???? jb weld or something like that

odd. it could be a hole in the pipe.

86 uses a different mount... hm... I would spray some carb cleaner around the joints to see if it goes away, or, you can see where it comes from.

A little copper RTV might work.
