The shifter & all rods in my 85 with the 4+3 is shot.Looks like the prev owner had some hack saw & welding work done.
It's a mess with terrible neutral gate issues.The trans works fine,but the rods bind up really bad. Does anyone make a shifter repair or replacement kit for this trans. Thank \db2 |

I haven't found an aftermarket shifter. I have seen the shifter and rods listed on Ebay.

you could try hitting up the salvage yards.
Ecklers used to sell a short shift kit... but I donno if that will help. I would like to think that an aftermarket Super T-10 shifter could be adapted to fit. |
