I don't think there's many C4 drivers that can say this.

I had the C4 on the track runnin' beside a Nascar. Actually getting passed by a Nascar.

I was at the track to crew, some guys showed up and asked the track manager if they could see the track. he looked at me and asked if I wanted to take them out.

Kinda nice to get your car on the track and not have to pay to do it.

Open it up? The C4, no, I baby it, 4,500 shifts, on the brakes just hard enough to kick in the abs.

I went out in front of Mike in the Nascar so he could blow me off on the straight and freek my passinger. It's pretty damn loud passing you.

We have a couple of those guys that run retired NASCAR and ARCA cars in with usin ST / SU. They're obviuosly in a different power to weight class (NASA SU, Super Unlimited), but we're all on track at the same time.

In the championship video there's a shot of one of them blowing by me on the back straight, I'd guess the speed differential is about 25 mph halfway down the straight...corner exit speed is pretty close.

It's surprising that they can make those cars handle well on a road course as well. It's becoming more and more popular as the shells and drivetrains become more available. They're blowing away the ST1 Corvettes, some with upwards of $75K invested, for as little as $15 - 20K.

The Nascar's I play with are vintage. I think you're refering to some of the newer cars like the ones with the Port City chassis for $15 to $20k.

The car at the track last weekend was a 1985 Dave Marcus Olds built in '85. The same guy has an Alan Kulwike '92 Ford. The Ford probably cost $40k. A J. Gordon car, 1996, is probably $70k, Don't ask what an Earnhart car costs.

They're still pigs in the corners but accelerate like a bitch. Tha fastest are only about 1 second per lap faster than my Formula Ford.
