I am going to use my Nakamichi CD400 since I have it. I do have a OEM Cd player that works in the car now, but it seems sort of clunky

Front stage will be what I had in my 89, CDT 3-way. 6.5" in door and 4" and tweet in OEM spot, yeah I know worst place but for now it works

Amp is an Arc Audio KS 300.4 (90x4) 2 channels will be for the front and 2 for the rear

I had Elemental Designs 9kv.2 I had in my 89 but they fit rather tight and I was not sure I want to use them so I am going to use a pair of Elemental Designs EU700s. The EU700s are smaller (6.5) but I think I should be fine, if not I will install the 8s but I want to try it. the lows will not be as loud or even play as low, but after having the 6.5s this way in my 89 when i sold it and a few years ago, it seemed fine for me.

I hope it sounds better then the Bose anyway.. I might start on some of the instsll in the next few weeks

Sounds like a plan. Let me know if you need a hand, you're only about an hour drive from me.

I did my three ways a little differently.

I put the 6" down in the OEM location... then the 4" in the doors (had to build up a pod in the carpeted area of the door panel, right by your knee) and tweets in the top of the door.

Hey Andy, How deep are the 4" speakers in the doors? I keep thinking of going to a three way system in my car.
