But it's been a year since "The Banning."
That was a red-letter day in the history of the Guru... So many folks from CF were getting canned that it was hard to keep count. I send a big THANK YOU! To all of you who followed us over here and have stuck it out as we grow and mature into THE premere Corvette themed site! On the morning of Dec. 20, 2007, the late great www.c4guru.com had 825 members and just at 8000 total posts. It took over two years to get those numbers. A year later, we have not quite doubled the membership - 1484 as of yesterday and over 63k posts!!! An 8 fold increase! I know c4guru.com has been around for a few years, but to be honest, it was rather quite for it's first couple of years. As the numbers indicate. But that day, one year ago, has created something new and something special. The transition to corvette-guru.com wasn't until March, but the real rebirth was Dec. 20, 2007. I have to admit, it was rather timely that my vanity tags arrived yesterday! I will pick them up Tuesday afternoon. The new plates? "VET GURU"! Again... a big THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for all of the work that I know you all put into this place so we can relax and unwind here. Having somewhere where I can be a little crazy is one of the only things that keeps me from teetering off of that precarious precipice of sanity. :coocoo:
