The summer of 2008 was a great summer for my Vette and I must thank the girls of Hooters. Every Thursday two of them would strip down to their bikinis to wash Corvettes. Brian the manager and I decided it was a great way to get the girls some extra money and bring new business on those days. By the end of the summer they were washing any car or truck that came by from 11am to 2pm.
I went several times, making sure to take lots of pictures. Here are some of my favorites. There will be lots more from this coming summer as I plan to attend as often as possible this year as well. Yeah I sure am, though I am not expecting good weather. Last year it was cold and rainy...I had Hooters girls show up to hand out fliers for the big Hooters Bikini Carwash Corvette show, but it was sooooo cold they didn't stick around long. Heck, the year before that it SNOWED.

I attended the show. It was about two weeks before I bought mine. I did enter in the Hooters Corvette show that was mid-summer. I also did the Hot Summer night cruise at the lake. The ironic thing is, in your first photo our company van is in the background.

We plan to attend the Lake shows this summer as well. It'll be easier of a drive when I get my TH2004R installed. What is your company? I probably know it. I hate early shows, too... we held our Corvette club show in mid-April one year (this is Delaware)... and it was like 50 with serious north winds!
April is the cruelest month. Nice pics. I am impressed you didn't put the roof back in. |

I have performed the removable rear window upgrade to my '77 and I had to leave that in for the car wash but the tops were not something I wanted to worry with...and never had to. LOL. Now if only they would perform the wash sans tops. |

I miss the Hooters car wash. I can't wait for the weather to warm up. I'm usually very particular about how I wash my car, but for some reason when these little ladies are doing it I don't seem to mind too much!
