I REMEMBER WHEN THE ARCH WAS BEING BUILT. USED TO GO BY AND CHECK THE PROGRESS ON PRETTY REGULAR. I LIVED ABOUT TEN MILES FROM IT. MAN WHEN THEY PUT THAT LAST SECTION IN IT THAT WAS A BIG DAY AROUND HERE. OH THE VETTES LOOK GOOD TOO. WHEN IWAS A KID LIVING IN WALNUT PARK THE VETTE PLANT WAS ONLY BLOCK AWAY FROM MY BACK YARD. I GUESS THATS WHEN I GOT TO THINKING ABOUT VETTES.

Cool Pic!!! I love looking at old B&W photos like that. It reminds me of the smell of devloper, stop bath and fixer. :shaking:

I think there is an article in the 2007 fall edition of "Corvette Restores Magazine" about a Tangier Shriner Corvette and their Corvette Unit.
