I will be selling my 4+3 in about a month or so. The tranny is in excellent shape, and the fluids are changed every year with synthetic AMSOIL Manual and ATF fluid.

You can do your research, but I believe the 88 which is the last year of the 4+3 may be the best built one.

It has 80000 miles on it, and works amazing!

I need to upgrade because I don't think the 4+3 will NOT like 550 lb/ft.

What can I expect to get for it?

There is one on "the other forum"....the guy is asking $750. No takers at that price.

But timing is everything.........

I'm not sure what it would be worth, I've never seem one sell. You may want to consider keeping it if you ever put the car back to stock.

There's definitely demand for it, because if one fails, just replacing it is way easier and cheaper than the alternatives. I sold mine for $1000 but it included the bellhousing, clutch hose, shifter, and new clutch set, flywheel, and hydraulics

People might be a little uneasy about buying a used one from some random guy on the internet though.

I would ask $600 and see if you get any interest. Also keep an eye out for the "My 4+3 died" threads and post it on those... not everyone browses the classifieds.

I sent one (tranny plus OD with driveshaft stub inserted)out to CA a while back. It was $400 plus shipping. The shipping was like $155 (quite heavy), and I built a really nice crate for shipping from TX. It was to be an "on the shelf spare" for the gent.

Just an idea of pricing. And sold on the CF classifieds.
