Welcome back to the 2009 NASCAR FANTASY Guru Cup Challenge!

I'm starting the league for the 2nd half of the season. The 1st half league by brut will be shut down, and the league is being moved to a different site in order to get everyone on a level playing field for the 2nd half.

Some of you have already paid for the full season, I'll get that info from Brut. The rest of you can send paypal to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX $10.45 or if you want to send your $10 some other way, post here.

NOTE: We will SKIP this weekend's race (week 19) in order to give everyone a chance to get registered. Your payment needs to be in before the week 20 racing or you'll be disqualified.

Here's the new link:

To play, simply click the link above, sign in and create your team. Once you have signed up, use the information below to join your friend's league:

CC

Just joined for 2nd half. My teams did not reset either.
Do we have to delete them and restore them or can you do it.

I don't see how. Yahoo won't let me create two teams with one email account, nor will it let me delete my team.

It looks like we'd have to all make a new yahoo accounts...

or find a different website...

or find a way to just keep running through the season with drivers as is without pissing anyone off...

EDIT: FIXED PROBLEM, SEE FIRST POST

I guess we could just take everybodys score now or just run to the end and whoever wins the season wins. Of course that means your dead drivers are dead for the rest of the season.
Whatever we work out is fine by me.

Here's my fix.

I'm moving the 2nd half over to a different website. This is the only way to get everyone starting on equal ground.

We will SKIP this weekend's race (week 19) in order to give everyone a chance to get registered.

Here's the gist of it...

Each driver can be used up to 4 times.

There are no driver groups (A,B,C) like before.

Your worst 3 weeks don't count. One of these will be week 19, so basically you have 2 mulligans for the remaining weeks.

Points are awarded based on finishing and qualifying, and bonus points are for drivers who finish better than where they started.

I'm in. Should we select drivers for 19 to fill in or just let it ride?

Don't pick any. If you do, I won't count the points, and that'll be one less time you can use them. You only get 4 races per driver.

I paid for both 1/2's already.

I'm still going to pick the drivers each week in the Yahoo also just for fun, and I hope you guys that played the first 1/2 of the season do too.
