This is it!!! The biggest event of the year in CT has returned!!! Last year, we had an incredible time at the 2008 Vette Model Search and I immediately started planning for this year's event. Unfortunately, life sometimes throws you some unexpected curveballs. Recently though, I had a chance to speak to the new manager at TCB who's a friend of SGreen4067 and he was really eager to do another Vette Model Search. He also knows several Connecticut Corvette clubs which could give us a huge turnout!! From that point on, it became time to plan our third annual Vette model search!!! So let's get this party underway!!!

First the breakdown of the event and some ground rules:

Date: Saturday, July 25th, 2009

MAIN MEETING SPOT: Mobile Service station, Northbound Side of Merrit pkwy, near the NY/CT border, map below:

Final Destination: TCB Bar and Billiards, 348 Sackett Point Rd

Start of the 2009 Vette Model Search: 6 PM

Entry Fee:$25 (to cover prizes, DJ and entertainment booking) Please pay this when you come into the bar

Afterparty Begins: 8 PM

Ground Rules: Just like last year, there's no nudity or bikini portion of the event to comply with forum rules. Also like last year, we will need 10 judges to help pick the top 3 girls, the audience reaction will determine the winner. If you know of any girls that might be interested in competing, feel free to tell them about this event. You can find more info on the event at:





The winner of this year's Vette Model Search will not only win a $500 cash prize, she'll also be eligible to be a Spokesgirl for ECS at their tent during Corvettes at Carlisle!! :eek:

Hotel Accomodations: If you are coming from far away, you may want to consider staying overnight. The Holiday Inn at North Haven is only 15 minutes away from the event. Since there will be lots of drinking and partying, it may be a safe alternative. Here is the information on the hotel:

UPDATE:

We just confirmed that Laura will be competing as well. She's a friend of Barbi who I posted a pic of earlier. Laura was a contestant on the reality show "True Beauty", she also had done extensive modeling in the past!!! Here's a couple of pics of her!





This may be our best lineup EVER!!! And I only had about a month to plan this vs. 6 months that it normally has taken in the past!!!

If this isn't enough reason to sign up, I can't think of any other more compelling reason!
