My 1990 Rims look like crap, all scratched up. I tried steel wool, wet sandpaper, buffing. Notihng seems to take out the scratches. Money is tight right now so I can't afford new rims. I even baught these special bars to alloy wheels, they all still look like crap... Any ideas?

there are firms that can restore rims, there is one in PA... house of wheels or something like that. Expect about 100.00 per rim.
Basically, unless you can put a polish to them, you don't have enough tools to do it right. The other option is to save up for new rims. |
