Hi! New member here . . .
It's time to upgrade the brakes on my 96. I've decided
to try the Carbotech pads and they tell me that the rotors
must either be turned or replaced. Since I am fairly easy
on brakes, is it worth going to a slotted rotor or should I
stay with a stock replacement? What upgrades have been
successful for you?

Welcome aboard!

I would just get NAPA rotors. I have them on my 92 and they are really great! They have been there 17 months. no vibrations or anything.
