Greetings. I'm a long time member of the CorvetteForums. I've been meaning to register over here, as I have found many of Andy's checklists and other compiled knowledge most useful.

Well, the Dale Earnhart (not a fan, sorry) popups on the other site finally gave me the extra push I needed to get my over here.

I'm glad this site exists, and hope I can be at least somewhat useful.

Thanks!

Chris

My Ruby, for those not on the other site... My first Vette. Purchased in July '07.
I put the wheels on, I've got a Hurst shifter in a box, new mats, awaiting exhaust upgrade (appearance only), new Ruby paint in November, and going to get 18" Z06 wheels for the front in a couple weeks.

After that, I just want to find an acrylic top, do a window tint, upgrade the stereo, and sprinkle some carbon fiber around tastefully. Probably not going to do any engine mods. I'm interested in having a reliable driver, even though I don't get to drive it much.

First Off, welcome!!! Looks like you have already made yourself comfortable and at home!

I agree with you about the other site. I saw that for the first time yesterday, and I am sorry but I am very dissapointed. I know they have bills to pay, but its pretty annoying. I have a feeling we may fill an bump of member activities very soon at C4guru!

Welcome!

I noticed they replaced the video ads with other google popups. ugh.

I promise, you will NEVER see an ad within a thread here - EVER.

Glad you're here, Case!

Yeah, I got a little excited when I checked out the site and there was no Dale... Then an ebay ad popped up.

I understand they have a business to run. But I think putting links to a site or product in the first post, (that the original poster may not like, or even be competition for) is, well... Uncool.

No way was I gonna post and have Dale in my thread.
