I use the RD Racing roof bar. Its not as pretty as they use square tubing, but I am able to use it with a helmet and not band against it. It is just as solid with this bar as my solid roof. i gave up the clear roofs years ago when the hair thinned too much. Just burns here in Hawaii.

I keep banging my helmet on it. Also I like to drive with the roof off but notice a lot more chassis movement. Seriously, I am going to have a machinist friend have a go at this project for me and see what he comes up with.

Good luck finding the latch parts.

Yeah, they are a little spendy. I lucked out and got mine used in great shape. I'm thinking you might need duct tape AND Vecro ;-)

Do you want them in order of importance or alphabetical?

Wow, for that much $$, I might have to try my out my own design...Surely the right amount of Duct tape will keep it rigid and attached. What could possibly go wrong?

I read about this AFS Bar in a post from last summer, but I did not see any information on where to buy this item. Does anybody have any information on where to find one of these?

Thanks CGs
