IT'S A REALLY NICE MORNING IN THE NATIONS, SUNNY AND COOL. THE CHEROKEES REJOICE. LOTS OF FOLKS HEADED FOR THE LAKE YESTERDAY EVENING, LOOKS LIKE THEY PICKED A GOOD TIME TO GO.

TENKILLER WAS ONCE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKE IN OKLAHOMA, BUT IT'S CLEAR WATER HAS BEEN CLOUDED FROM CHICKEN FARM RUNOFF FROM ARKANSAS AND LAPLAND. WHEN I WAS IN HIGHSCHOOL PEOPLE WOULD HAUL THEIR BOATS THREE HOURS FROM ADA. NOT SO NOW.

Greetings! It was going to be another day of catch-up on chores, but a friend called last night and invited us to go out on their houseboat on the river, so we'll do that instead. Dang, I hate it when that happens :P

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Lake Okeechobee, The Big O here is suffering the fate of cattle ranch, farm and Big Sugar runoff. It affects not only the lake but the gulf and ocean where the lake dumps off it's excess or drain downs from The Army Corp of Engineers. It's a Vulcan nightmare. Guess we have no one to blame but Marcus. Sue is up with mom, the guys are here weeding the back nursery here at the house. I have a number of chores that need my attention. Just another day in paradise.

Morning guys.....something didn’t set well with me yesterday and I went to bed at 8:30this morning. I feel a little better, just run down and no energy. Everyone is out fishing, walking or doing some other activity.

Good afternoon, all.

An unexpectedly beautiful day today in the Philadelphia area (July is our worst month for heat and humidity). I went running this morning—by the time i got back, Ivelis had made our yard look lovely.

We're about to head out to a first birthday party; the (cute) son of a friend from Penn. He's getting a model Corvette and a t-shirt from the Corvette Museum.

Afterwards, a little shopping and then I'll come back home and fight with the C5. Yesterday, one of the (original) spark plug wires disentegrated in my hands as I removed it—that's at least part of the reason for the rough idle. I'm going to try and get the plug out and take a look at it; there are wires and plugs on the way from Rock Auto.

I remember in high school this would have been the summer of 67 I think. I was asked to accompany my best buds family on a skiing and fishing trip to lake Texoma on the OK Texas border. We camped out and pretty much had the use of the their nice boat with a 125 hp Mercruiser outboard motor.....that was big at that time.

We were into slalom skiing and I remember when waiting to be pulled out of the water I could look down through the 6 feet of water and read the writing on my ski...... water was crystal clear....... hope it still is..... but probably is not.

I will have to pass off the blame to Obama.....pretty sure its on him.......

Weather-wise it turned out to be a nice day today. Wife worked so I was in charge of rugrats + 1, niece is visiting from out of state this week. One of the reasons I've been scarce. She flies home tomorrow. Kids did enjoy playing quite a bit. This might become a yearly summer tradition from here on out.

Hope everyone had a great day!
