First - let me say that if this needs to be moved, please do so...

I have a friend from another forum, who is also on my FB page, with whom I communicate regularly who is selling his car collection. To make a long story a little shorter - he remembered when I lost my mother, had other losses and world crashed down around me ,etc. He therefore figured I'd understand how he felt when he lost his wife of 40+ years so he reached out to me. We have religious discussions, talk about depression, etc. I lend an ear/encouraging word as I can.

Anyway - he is no longer interested in his car collection and would like to disperse these vehicles - mostly Corvettes but there are a couple of others. All posted here are available except the Caddy and Olds which are sold and have gone to Europe he said. Once these are gone, he will start the process of downsizing to a smaller home and selling the current - which is approx 7,000 sf plus a very nice garage that the car collection was kept in. These are located in Texas.

I looked but like him I should be thinking of selling. Actually we get calls to the house from a dealer asking if we want to sell our Porsches. Nothing makes you want to hold onto something longer than when somebody comes out of nowhere and wants to buy it. Makes you wonder. There are some damned nice cars there, Letty.

I sure do wish a couple of those were in my budget. I tried to discourage him from selling. Times like these are when people often sell then later regret. He says - no regrets. There are a couple he is keeping and those are not included in the online posting.
His kids have distanced themselves as well so the house, pool and the cars are too much for him to deal with alone. If you know anyone that might be interested, please pass the word.

That's a very nice collection. I'd love any or all of several of them.
He's modified them ,not only tastefully, but properly and in a very thorough manor.

He typically spares no expense - They have a nice place to sleep also and can look at pictures of themselves... In other words, they're all garage kept and well cared for cars
