As much as I TRY to stay out of the business I keep getting drug back in. Sue is currently in negotiations for a major corporate contract that has multiple phases. The first phase involves turning an overgrown lake property into a walking path and exercise park. The proposal has to be approved by the City of Homestead. These all require formal proposals and estimates which is something we usually avoid and opt for smaller commercial and residential projects. It's not that we can't do the projects but the hoops you have to jump through and the time invested are front loaded in jobs like these. Personally it is something I really don't like to involve myself in, but for Susan I end up caving in and helping her in her business endeavours. You all understand .....

Morning guys... Sunny, reasonably warm (mid 40s now) and headed to mid 70s, but quite windy, even by our standards.

Yea, Tommy, I understand where you are coming from. I hate those type of jobs.

Going to look at a job today. We have a special service (the Bishop will be here) at church today at 1pm then normal service at 4.

Yeah I don't like the bid jobs either.... somebody always lowballing.... then they get the bid and get half way through it and figure out that can't make any money at what they bid it at....... dumbasses.....

I also prefer the smaller jobs that we can make a decent margin on but if you can get your margin on a big job it does make money and it gets you known in the big job circles..... if you are in business you need to go for it......

Saturday morning and I must clean the floors today.....we are having quests next weekend so need to get ready for them.

My brother in law bought a nice Crystal Red 09 Corvette with the 4LT interior yesterday. It has 34K milage on it and both tops also NPP exhaust.... not a Z51 car. Paid $24,800 for it and they will ship it to him from Knoxville Tenn on their dime. been a long time dream for him. Glad he could get it done.

Have a groovy day Guru's.....
