A SUNNY 71 DEGREES & 90% HUMIDITY THIS MORNING, 50% CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS. HAD A SHOWER OF RAIN EARLY, JUST ENOUGH TO LAY THE DUST.

DARLING WIFE WANTS TO PUT THE TOP DOWN ON THE TOMATO AND GO WATCH THE FT GIBSON FIREWORKS. WE SHALL SEE HOW THAT WORKS OUT :-)

THE CURRENT NATIONAL SOCIALIST WAR ON STATUES REMINDS ME OF THE COGENT INSIGHT OF A FELLOW STUDENT.

THE PSYCH PROGRAM AT THE COLLEGE WHERE I DID MY POST GRAD WAS HEADED BY A TOUCHY-FEELY "COUNSELING" TYPE WHO ADVOCATED TOTAL DISREGARD FOR CASE HISTORIES. MY BUDDY REMARKED THAT WHEN YOU DELETE A PERSONS HISTORY YOU HAVE DELETED THEIR PERSONALITY.

DR. TOUCHY-FEELY WAS LATER FIRED FOR HANKY-PANKY WITH FEMALE STUDENTS.

Think it is only fitting I wash and run the cars today. May pass on the hot dogs for a more diet friendly fare. Crank up some tunes in the garage to the delight of my neighbors.

Morning guys... Slept pretty good, didn’t wake until 8. Low to mid 70s now and only headed to the upper 80s today. But we will be nearer to Gris, so we will be sharing that nice “low” humidity that he is experiencing.

We will be headed off to Wichita pretty soon.

Have a great 4th folks!

Happy Fourth of July, all.

We're quiet today. We walked to the local farmer's market this morning for the first time since the shutdown and scored some of what I believe are the best pickles you can find.

This afternoon, I do have some work to do (a website update). We'll visit with my parents, get some fried chicken, and watch a lot of racing.

BETTER THAN CLAUSSEN'S????

Gris, Claussen's are quite good. But these are so fresh and they essentially make them to spec:

—I find that I've been getting pickier and pickier about pickles over the last decade or so.

Hey guys , back home from the wedding. Very nice It was warm (muggy) in Wichita. Had to wear masks,as Wichita city council voted to follow the governor’s order. I resisted while in the church and at the reception.

Rosie and I led the “grand march”.....for those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s an old bohemian custom to start the party. We had to do a really ‘modified’ version, to keep the social distancing thing in order, but it was fun and successful anyway.

Came home and sat outside and watched fireworks. Time for bed..... night guys.
