ICKY MORNING, 75 DEGREES, 96%, HEAVY OVERCAST. THE CHEROKEES THINK IT A DEPLORABLE WAY TO START THE MONTH.

DW HAS ANOTHER MEDICAL APPOINTMENT THIS MORNING, UNNECESSARY, IMHO.

GOT THE USUAL FIRST OF THE MONTH TASKS (I'M AHEAD OF THE GAME, DOG IS PILLED ALREADY) OTHERWISE THE AGENDA IS OPEN.

WE HAVE MISSED OUT ON THE HEAVY RAIN SO FAR, SO I'M STILL WAITING TO SEE IF MY DRIVEWAY DRAINAGE "IMPROVEMENT" WILL WORK.
WE SHALL SEE WHAT WE SHALL SEE.

Hi y'all. Doing some of this and some of that. Whatever rises to the top or whatever I feel like finally doing something about. Hot, humid, possible showers and the cone of a tropical storm we have to keep an eys on. Typical summer day.

Good morning - year blazing by. Hot and icky this morning, rain on the agenda for today. Radio station last minute order for 117 double sided yard signs. The radio lady is coming with her crew to help, but I told her I'd start on them while I'm here and do what I can. She often does her own production work up here she knows we get slammed. Roof almost done, likes one strip of shingles up top, siding back on fireplace thing and then trimming and cleaning up. It's water tight at this point just in time. They ran out of roofing nails and daylight last night and said he needed two more bundles of shingles. Then on to something else. It never ends I guess. Meeting my uncle Friday to give my aunt a washer and dryer we've had stored were not using. She was renting one, the rental place called me about her payment, she's been in the hospital for a couple days. I told her about it and she's gonna tell them to come get it and take my old set. The rental lady I talked to even said "she needs to have us come get this and she could buy her a nice set at Lowes for what she's paying us. This set she is renting is nowhere near worth what she's paying". Appreciate the honesty there.
Hope everybody has a good day

Good afternoon, all.

Thunderstorms came last night and dropped the temperatures by about ten degrees, which is fine by me. The now fully functional generator kept me calm.

Today, rain came in the late morning. Just medium rain—no sturm und drang. In our back driveway turnaround area, the birds are bathing in the rain.

Good Afternoon CGs!

The year is half over already. Absolutely wild.

Speaking of time I was talking to one of my neighbors down the street today - he saw RR#2 walking in the house and commented on how big he'd gotten. Said he remembered us pushing the stroller with #1. Time flies.

Good luck with the roof, Letty.

Hope everyone has a great day!
