I was out on Banski's page recently, and they are shutting down and retiring!

Sad, they had neat stuff. I hope someone buys out their intellectual property, because I sense the C4 has a chance of becoming a platform for future hot rodding... maybe.

That's too bad. One of the only companies that was interested in developing products for the C4.

yea, I know... there have been some good operations, but in general, C4 owners were too broke to spend real money.

Especially after the C5 came out!

I agree with you Andy. The future of the C4 in my eyes looks promising. The period T/A, Camaro and Fox body Stangs are all garnering interest as affordable hobby entry cars as well as Porsche 928's. (Don't believe that 928's are affordable though. You need disposable income.) Hell, people are even saying nice things about the later year C3's. Still, I hope somebody buys Banski's intellectual property.

Geez, dude, 928's are actually going UP... and fast. the days of a nice one for $15k are done. I think people are finally realizing that a Porsche sports car does not need to be rear engined.

As for the 80s cars... it's an age thing. All the kids of the 80s can now afford their dream cars! It's why muscle cars have taken a dump, those who grew up with them are now aging out and selling. This is the time to buy and hold, then sell in about 3-5 years... maybe a little more.

Just saw this. Some time back I was looking for some parts and stumbled upon a company that appeared to have the same arms and heim joints as available through Banski. Still trying to see if I can find them again.

Someone on another forum said something that gave me a brainstorm. That other place I remembered was Coleman Racing. I happened to see that website at one time and found what appeared to be the same trailing arms etc. along with heim joints comparable to what was on the Banski site. Thing was you'd have to assemble your own package.

I think Van Steel makes a control arm kit, too. Or they did.
