A WET MORNING AM GRISHEIM, 70/98% AT 0843 HRS. TWO INCHES IN THE RAIN GAUGE, MORE LIKELY, MAKING UP FOR THE DRY SPELL.

MAY NOT RUN THE DOG, STILL SPRINKLING; I MIGHT MELT :-)

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA. READING AN OLD BOOK BY C.S. FORESTER, "THE GOOD SHEPHERD". GOOD BOOK, EXCELLENT WRITER.

go run the dog, let it sprinkle, free bath lol
Good morning - raining here too and I have a new umbrella yet forgot to use it since we're not used to getting rain. Now weather officials say they're afraid we're getting too much for as dry as it has been. Farmers are happy. My plants are happier, my yard is green again. Strange how when I water it don't turn immediately green but a light rain and it's super green overnight. God's water is best. I'm at work today on my day off which will throw off my weekend plans, but supposedly I can get a 24ft food truck ready to print and that will help out a lot on the install schedule. He's so backed up he's called in reinforcements for installations to get caught up. Some Pakistani dudes he has known for years from another state, they helped get him into this business 30 years ago and when he gets slammed he pays them to jump in and help. He says he has never been this busy in all the years here. I can confirm, I'm covered up and it's all big stuff. Fingers crossed on another one we gave a quote to - an ambulance fleet. Like 90 of them . I think the business has shifted to more of the larger scale things and fleetwork. He's not had time to do the small jobs like decal work, window stickers and little things like that. We'll take it.

Morning guys...I'll continue the theme for today.....we've had about 1 1/2" overnight and still spitting out there. Praise the Lord! Highs in the low 70s today and tomorrow.

Got a call from #2, #1 GS and wife are coming over as we live less than a block from the hospital and she's having back labor and shoud be delivering #1 great grand in the VERY near future. They'll be here until it's time to go to the hospital to deliver. Rosie is like a busy little bee, prepping things and is so excited tht she can hardly contain herself.

I took 007 out yesterday to go look at a job. 90 miles away. Was called in on this one due to my connection with a brother knight. Met with the priest and won him over pretty quickly with my ideas. Still have to make three proposals to offer to the Bishop.

On the way down I ran through a shower, but with the fresh ceramic coating on 007, it rolled right off. When I got back I figured I'd have to give it a bath, but not even a water spot on it. Just a few bugs on the front, which wiped off with a little waterless wash. Wiping it down I just kept thinking, the C^ is one of the most beautiful Corvettes ever made... right up there with the C2.....OK, I MIGHT be a little prejudiced. I had a loong open section of road on the way back and let 007 stretch his legs a bit...ran it up to 125 for a short stretch....

Got notice my new saw motor is 'out for delivery'. I hope we can get it back up and running today.

Leo is here, better go find some work. Have a great day.

...never get rid of anything....that seems to be our mantra...

Harley was making weird noises when at idle after being run on the highway..... thought here we go.... just turned 2K miles on it... bottom end is gone.... rode it into my Harley store and had the wrench look at it..... turns out its my engine management system shutting off the rear cylinder to keep from overheating.... the wrench said they just turn it off .... so he did and no more weird noises..... I never idle a bike long anyway..... we don't need no stinking engine management systems.....

VB.... we all think you should get a nice raise...... the place would fold up wid out you.....

back at it for now..... more later.....

Well, the table saw is back up and running. Motor came in a little after noon.

Been raining-spitting all day and still going this evening...over 2 inches of nice gentle rain, just what we needed.

Leo and i got all the drawers refinished, the 2 bottom doors repaired, scraped, stained and finished. The 2 upper doors scraped and stained. We just need to get the behemoth cabinet down here so we can work on that one. Maybe Monday we can get that done.

GS#1 and wife had Dr appointment this afternoon, they sent them home and said we'll induce Monday. Well, they are staying here until it happens. She was really hurting a little while ago and they decided to go up and get checked. They are keeping her and getting her an epidural ... the baby is coming tonight or in the morning. Rosie just left to go be with them in the hospital...I'm left here with the dog. When I post tomorrow, I hope to be telling you that I'm a great grandfather.

Night all.....
