CLEAR, CALM, AND COLD THIS MORNING, 14 DEGREES AT 0739 HRS.
A BREEZY HIGH OF 41 PREDICTED. THE CHEROKEES COULD DO WITHOUT THE WIND.

GOT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DONE YESTERDAY, IT CLOUDED UP AND SPIT RAIN ALL DAY. SO IT'S ALL TO DO TODAY. PLUS TROUBLE NEEDS A NEW COLLAR.

WHEN I LET HIM OUT TO PEE CHRISTMAS DAY HE TOOK OFF AFTER DEER AND FINALLY CAME BACK WITHOUT HIS COLLAR. IT'S IMPORTANT TO KEEP THEM LOOSE ENOUGH TO SLIP OVER THEIR HEAD SO THEY DON'T GET HUNG UP AND CAN'T GET LOOSE.

EVEN WORSE, DARLING WIFE WENT TO MUSKOGEE TO SWIM YESTERDAY AND THE WATER WAS COLD :-O NOT AT ALL SATISFACTORY!

KEEP UP THE FIRE, GURUS!

Morning guys...Same here Gris, I got nothing done yesterday, except the trip to the 'city' to pick up the stuff I ordered. But part of that was, the weather turned chilly and windy.

Today, with the help of GSs #2 and 3, I will repair a handrail that was damaged by the stiff breeze (70 mph) we had a couple weeks back.

Good mornin. All is well. Sue and I gave each other nothing for Hanumas. That's because we don't wait for Christmas to treat ouirselves for what we want but don't really need. The Christmas stuff is already put away except for the inflatables. I'll do them today as long as they're not damp. It's been rainy and cold for SoFlo. Had a big fishkill at the nursery. Tropical fish do not like cold weather. Bought a couple of water heaters today that will drop in the pond for next time. They might help. They might not.

December 31st marks 14 years since I retired from the P.O. The time has just flown by. Tempus Fugit, right? Even though I've been gone that long I had a dream last night that I was working at the P.O.. Well ... I guess that was more of a nightmare than a dream.

...we have that trouble with Olly our acreage Yorkie.... we put a harness on him and leave it fairly loose but then sooner or later he shows up with out it and we have to go get another one. Occasionally I will be out on the property and see one hanging on a branch or fence.... right now he isn't even wearing one...

got stuff going on everywhere so better get at it.... extreme cold weather has abated so its just normal cold now... never give up Guru's....

Good evening, was a nice day here today , 59 and the water is 65. Too cold for me though but have seen some in it. We’ve been exploring and sitting out in the sun, can’t believe it’s Tuesday already. Time flies when you’re having fun they say.

Got the handrail repaired, with the help of the 2 GSs. Then came home and changed the oil on the pickup. By then it was pretty warm...low 60s, so we needed to wash Rosies' Caddy, so got that done, while I finished it up, the 2 GSs washed GS #2s CTS. High ended up to be 63. Tomorrow is supposed to be much the same.....maybe we'll wash the pickup.
