NCM C5/C6 Bash - Bowling Green, KY
NCM C5/C6 Bash – April 23-26, 2008
Guest hosted by the C5/C6 Registry

The event kicks off on Wednesday April 23 with early registration pickup and tours of the Museum.

Thursday: Road tours: Wine & Cheese Run, Lincoln Heritage Tour, or Bourbon Tour. Z06 Ride and Drive.

Friday: Corvette Quality Clinic for 2008 Corvettes, drag racing at Beech Bend, a poker run, and an autograph session. There will also be experts on hand to discuss factory warranty and other customer related issues with new Corvette owners and seminars on subjects such as GM Powertrain, Engineering, and Design. Friday will also present another opportunity for a Z06 Ride and Drive.

Participants will have an opportunity Friday evening to attend the Official NCM Building Ground Breaking Ceremony, commemorating the much anticipated NCM expansion. There will also be an Evening with Wil and Paul fundraiser, celebrating the retirement of Corvette Assembly Plant Manager Wil Cooksey and introducing new Plant Manager Paul Graham.

The Corvette Quality Clinic will continue on Saturday, and the Customer Assistance Team will still be on hand to answer factory warranty and customer questions. Also on the schedule for Saturday is an autocross event, a “Celebrity Choice” car show, a live auction, and a free scenic road tour. The 2009 Corvette lineup will be introduced to NCM visitors in a Saturday afternoon “walk-around.” There will also be a raffle drawing for a 2008 Corvette Coupe on Saturday afternoon.

The festivities will come to a close Saturday evening with the C5/C6 Bash “Margaritaville” Banquet at Sloan Convention Center, once again featuring live music and dancing.
