Acura Sports Car Challenge Lexington, OH, US
A crucial run of four American Le Mans Series events in five weeks starts in early August at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and the Acura Sports Car Challenge. This is a home game for Acura with a heavy turnout of American Honda employees attending each of the past two seasons. The race also is one of four held in conjunction with the Indy Racing League.
Be sure to set August 7-9, 2009 aside - it will be worth it!!
Highlights of the activities planned for the weekend include:
Friday evening we'll be providing burgers, brats, dogs, chips and soda followed by an Ice-cream social!
Saturday we'll be hosting a Show'n'Shine with lots of cool awards. We'll also be providing lunch AND dinner on Saturday.
Vendors!! This year we have at least 10 vendors lined up to offer lots of neat stuff including graphics, t-shirts and much more during the Show'n'Shine
Drawings for an amazing number of great prizes AND a 50/50 drawing for cash.
Following the Show'n'Shine we'll have a cruise to enjoy some beautiful Oregon countryside.
Coffee, juice, pastries and fruit are also included on Saturday and Sunday morning!
Covered car wash facilities at the Village Green for event attendees.
And, we continue to offer all of this for the amazingly low registration cost of $50. (For those attending without a copilot the cost is only $40!!)
This year, our host hotel will be: The Village Green Resort 725 Row River Road Cottage Grove, OR 800-343-ROOMS or 5419422491 Special show rates of $99.00 (plus tax) per night for a standard room have been negotiated with the Village Green. Please mention that you are attending Corvettes in the Park to receive this rate. Lodging at the Village Green includes a full buffet breakfast. Other Village Green amenities include lovely gardens, restaurant, and lounge. Some rooms are pet friendly (extra fee applies). All are nonsmoking.
