The joint NCM-Hooked on Driving HPDE at Autobahn becomes an annual event as the Great Lakes Chapter of HOD reserves the full course at Autobahn Country Club for Monday, October 3rd. The Autobahn full course is a 3.1 mile course with 21 corners. Those familiar with NCM HPDE schools will find the format familiar with instructors/coaches in student cars, mandatory classroom and plenty of run time. Advanced students will have the opportunity to get coaching from pro-drivers. Spectators are welcome and (spectator) rides with instructors will be available.
Hooked on Driving will allow minimum of Snell SA2000 helmets for this event but remember that the NCM requires Snell SA2005 or newer rated helmets for NCM run events (eg. VIR) and rentals are available. Convertibles must have factory roll protection or approved roll bar installed.
