For some reason now that I've had the C-beam bolts out a few times they don't seem like as much of a pain as they were that first time. Matthew, that's exactly how mine was, it was nice and loose until I pressed it that extra hair to get the clip to seat then they were tight. Only on the yoke end too. The other end seemed ok.
