Subject: Re: 6 Speed manual Trans S-640 Replacing a 4+3 by FATED on 2008/5/27 23:48:05 At the risk of raising the boredom factor, the Howe 82870 is 3/4" thinner when compressed than the 8288 and has about 1/2" more throw. It seems like the BH shim would not be required and you would have more travel before over extension. All of this because I still don't know for sure which way to go.
