Ralph, you are just having a bad day. The neoprene hoses are probalby the vac vent hoses to the opti. Take them loose at the intake and the air bridge and move them aside. I wouldn't remove them from the opti. A swivel socket and short extension will get you to the driver's side bolts, rotate the PS pulley as needed. Wait until it is time to clean the gasket surfaces on the block, that is the real fun part.
