BTW, what filter is in there now? More filter area is better, so long as the pleats aren't too crowded, like the PureOne. A restrictive filter will give you a higher guage reading and less oil flow.

K&N is ok, but if you want a really good flowing filter, try the Mobil M1-302. It's the same price as K&N, but the can is literally double the size of the Delco filter and a little larger diameter. And if nothing else, it can hold more dirt before it reduces flow or needs changing.

BUT, if you have the Z51 sandwich oil cooler, ground clearance and filter puncture from road debris becomes a concern. In which case you may consider the K&N, it's medium length and has a thicker case.
