Subject: BATTERY by thaguv on 2007/2/4 9:22:36 Hi guys. Tony here again. Well the security system is fine on my 96 vette. I did what you guys told me to do. I got a new key, and it started rite up... thanks again fellas. Now I got my altenator checked. Because I got a new battery. And I had to get a jump the next day. It was only putting out 11 at the time, the altenator, so the shop said that I need a new one. 140 amp one for my 96, 350, LT1. So I charged the new battery up. And put it back in my vette. Then the Volts meter was reading 13.9, 14.6. and it went down a few times to about 11.3.. It seemed to be working fine, at night now with all the lights and things on. the alll of a sudden it dropped to about 9.0, 9.8. Was do you think is causing this Tony |
