| LT-1 won't start after gasket replacement |
Subject: LT-1 won't start after gasket replacement by Marty on 2006/4/5 2:35:37 My car is a 95 LT-1, it started to leak oil about three weeks ago. After a brief look over it appeared the oil was coming from the front upper portion of the engine. I broke the engine down and replaced the head/water pump/intake/exhaust gaskets, I also replace the Spark plug wires and spark plugs (gaps are good set at .050). Once I had it all back together, the car wouldn't start. When I turn the egnition; the crank turns, plugs spark (atleast 1&8 fire only ones I checked), cylinder is getting fuel (smell it on plugs apon removal and fuel rail is pressurized), all sensors are pluged in. Can anyone help me here? |
