Re: New Graphics???

My opinion only:

Most often I see a web site advertized on:
- TV
- vehicle
- billboard
- magazine
- newspaper
- junk mail
- etc, etc.

It's the coming WAVE in all 'advertizing', plain to see. It's 'busy' right now....it'll only get worse. A LOT worse.

Personally, it's ALL about REMEMBERING the address for me. I'll see an interesting website and I'll:

1) easily commit it to memory. or......
2) write it down. OR...
2) laugh at the complexity of the spelling and tell myself "I'll NEVER remember THAT." And promptly forget it.

Personally, if we truly want to market the site....it's NOT about what looks 'good'.

It's all about REMEMBERING.

Remembering 12 hours after you've seen it when you're actually at your computer and trying to recall (or not driving and on your iPhone, whatever)

When I read this thread the only thing that really concerned me was our market remembering the 'guru' part of the address. Everyone KNOWS the word 'corvette'....but remembering 'guru' is perhaps difficult. Capitalizing the 'G' helps an awful lot.

Just my personal opinion though.
