I have a friend that has some stock halfshafts and he said I could have them to get going again. So no cryo or anything. Just the good Spicer U-Joints.

Thinking of getting a local driveline shop to make me some steel shafts, but so far my experience between the 92 and now this car shows the U-Joints are the weak link. Thing is the ends of the shaft get bashed up pretty bad when the joints break....

BTW it could have been way worse. The right side inner joint was destroyed as well.... just hadnt broke yet. Weird because the needles were crushed in it.... the drivers side that broke, the needles are totally fine.

It did not damage the storage compartment. The joint broke at the cross and then kinda wedged itself together.... I was able to limp down the track and load it on the trailer no problem.

Would take some pics but its just a broken U-Joint... not much to see. I do have video of the pass and will upload it in a few.
