When they come by trying to sell us a new one I always let them clean the carpet then I dicker with them. Then in the end I say "No". My neighbor across the street, bought one the last time they came through....after the sales pitch, she said I'll give you $650 for the whole kit and kaboodle. They told her no, she said "Fine, you can leave", then as they were walking out the door they agreed on $650. If you want a Kirby (and I think they are good quality machines)you can deal with them and make them an offer. We gave $700 for the one we have and at the time they started out talking $1100, we talked them down $400. They have room to play. |
