It's like what happened to the Taylor Vette, runs fine, ran the tests fine, prepped to the max and an engine component brakes right out of the trailer. Shit happens. A lot of luck goes into winning a 24 hour race no matter what the prep. The car in my avatar, I qualified that car in 3rd place the firat time I ran it. In the race I ran a half lap and the car quit. The wire on the fuel pump fell off, the pump's inside the fuelcell. No one had ever had that happen in the 5 years that these cars have been raced (we checked). |
