.....it's the not so fine negative 9 out there with the wind chill of -21......takes pioneer stock people to live i this country......crazy cold out there.......wonder how bad it is up in Gopher country.....?

Well the tests turned out ok.......thanks for the Mojo......don't have to go back for 5 years.....always a relief to get a clean bill of health....the drugs were great......

We were out in Tee land at Garden City with a load of feed grade Urea.....I wasn't driving, it was one of the drivers. We hauled it up from Enid.... There is no difference in feed grade urea and fertilizer urea products......urea is a 46% nitrogen product that is used on crops and in animal feed.

So when we get to Garden City they reject the load because we did not wash out the trailer after the last load we hauled.....the trailer was completely clean but not washed out because we did not know that it had to be. The place that loaded us was supposed to see a paid ticket from the wash out place before we loaded but they did not ask.....and we are dumb so did not know any of this as the broker did not say anything either......

So there we sit in Garden City with a rejected load and nobody knows what we are to do with it... It takes hours of me yelling and cursing at folks to try and get a decision on what to do. I finally called some of my guys and got the load sold but we can't figure out who the owner of the load is.....the Coop in GC was the owner but they rejected it so now what......seems it goes back to the original broker who booked the load out of Enid. Problem is that is not the broker we booked with. So what we had was some double dipping where one broker books a load that belongs to another broker because he has an immediate need......its against the law but happens all the time I am told.

So the load is on my truck which is back here now and we are still waiting on a resolution to the mess.....if all else fails I will sell it since I am a fertilizer wholesaler and take out my freight and then give the rest to who ever they decide should get it........ what a freaking mess.....all because of we did not know you had to wash out a trailer.......

That is my story and I am sticking to it........have a good day Guru's......try to stay warm North bound folks.........
