I too go for an annual blood test that I use to gauge my general health condition. 10 years now and my bp has been under control with normal cholesterol readings. Borderline on blood sugar at just over 100. My heart doc that I got after my brother dropped dead at 44 from a heart attack, told me I could go off the meds and would probably be fine or as he does, continue the meds as my body tolerates it. Rolling right along. Living one day at a time, a month at a time, a year at a time. So far they're all adding up. |
