Subject: Re: Front Plate Crap by bogus on 2011/6/2 20:59:07 Question - was the car registered in the state ticketed? Many states (DE, FL, for example) don't have front plates. And even if he was driving a car without front plates, that should have, he cannot be ticketed in another state for that violation. Meaning, I have CA plate, I am required to run a front plate. But lets say I go to NV, which also has a front plate law, and remove my CA front plate, I don't honestly believe they can ticket me for that. Otherwise, he is a dick for trying to bribe or influence a police officer, which can only piss them off. Personally, I don't like the front plate law. It's an expense - making a 2nd plate - with only minimal return re: public safety. Has anyone ever seen a front plate after driving any distance in bad weather? |
