Re: CORVETTE GADGETS THAT WORK

I have a Windjammer also - it worked great, but I haven't used it since I got my AFSB targa truss some years back. I love the targa truss, and if it had a little lip on the front like the Windjammer, it would be even better. I would like to get a canvas top to slip on it in a pinch.

I had a skip-shift module (the plug-in gizmo that defeats the 1-4 shift) - that worked well until I had the skip-shift programmed out when I got my new cam.

I have one of those harnesses with a shut-off switch for the under-hood lights - easy mod and worthwhile, as much as I seem to have my hood up.

The Jack-A-Vette has come in handy many times - it is an adapter for your floor jack that allows you to jack up the rear end at the differential.

I was too lazy to make emergency hood-release cables, so I installed some ready-made ones several years ago. They appear to work - fortunately I've never had to use them.

A small drill-driver with a Torx bit speeds up top removal and installation. I keep it in the storage compartment and just have to remember to charge it up every now and then.
