Actually, I'm happy to say that I've found a couple of honest people to do service work for me for honest prices. The dealership is a good place to get effed though...
They took my vette one time to change out the ignition switch, 2.5 hour job, ended up charging me 5 hours, plus put 400 miles on my car and it came back with a bent tie rod.
I might be pissing off the purists also, but I've found a couple of small garages that do great work for me and way cheaper prices and don't mess me around. It also don't help to have a friend that owns a parts store
