Raining here! Looks like another busy day at work...stuck in the lab....with no windows...

I'm still trying to get over the Panthers performance....
5 interceptions??? I gave up at halftime and recorded the rest. Went in Sunday morning to see the damage, then promptly deleted game....

'Morning!

Wow. Where did the weekend go?! I read about that neti-pot a while back, but I've never come across anyone who's used it. At this point, I'm just about ready to go into the garage and run compressed air through there to open things up! I think I'll give the Neti a shot and see what happens!!

Good Day, Everybody!

I drove 3 hours to pick one up in my truck, and 1 block from my house, I was cut off, and had to evade up a curb, which chipped the corner off it (It was strapped down in the bed.)

So then I ordered one from vette2vette, and the UPS guy dropped it 5' over the front fence into my townhouse patio, which broke the corner of the door.

So I gave up.

That sounds like my kind of luck...

I've had episodes where the HVAC controls would become inoperative, but I think maybe the contacts need cleaning.
My antenna went out last year too, but I haven't seen any of the other symptoms you've described. Maybe it's a relay/short, as you suggested...I'll look around later and see if I can find something about this anywhere..

Well,
I've got the passenger side door panel repaired, as well as the sticking door locks for both sides!
Think I'm going to get the side vent inserts done tonight!
Thought of something else too....Paint brake calipers!

Here's some of the stuff I did last year..
Replace radiator
Replace water pump
Replace Opti
New Plugs, belt, hoses
New Wheels/Tires
New B&B 3" SS Exhaust
Replace headlamp motor...
New slotted/ported rotors
Seems like there was something else, but memory escapes me!

I recently ran into a problem with mine. I got the shifter button off with ease; however, it took me forever to get the shifter knob off. Turns out, there wasn't even a snap ring in place, and the knob was just stuck...and I mean stuck! I finally got it off by using the persuader (wrapped a cloth around the knob as not to damage it!)

Excellent Observation! How in the world did they manage to leave that out? I guess using the 'say yes' button would suffice, but I think I'd rather have the BJ on demand button at my disposal!

I like the remote posted by C4DERF even better. A fellow could carry that around in his pocket!

Happy New Year!

I was thinking about projects for the Vette that I need/want to get done, and here are some that come to mind. I just completed the dreaded heater core replacement, so I'm thinking I should strike while the iron is hot and get these knocked out!

1. Replace Weatherstripping
2. Lower it!
3. Repair passenger side door panel. (pops off frame from time to time)
4. Detail engine bay (Heard simple green works wonders)
5. Add side vent inserts
6. Repair sticking door locks
7. Polish wheels, detail suspension parts. (Could be done when lowering, I suppose!)

I'm sure there is more, but that's a good start I suppose.
Oh yeah, one more.....DRIVE IT!!
