Anybody else mess around with the G-Tech meter? I've checked mine with a stopwatch and I believe in it. I think it's a valuable tool and besides I've had a lot of fun with it.

Evel lives. I'll leave runner length out of the equation, because my hurried experiment proved inconclusive. But, c.c. I'm picturing the efficiency of my shop vac on blower mode, small dia. hose vs. large. Now if I triple the air output, the small hose reaches its limit and the large one excells. yes?

Nice to know the runners need not be removed.

Will someone explain why long L98 style intake runners produce more torque and shorter Lt1 style produce more H.P.and evidently breath better at higher rpm? thanks

According to the 1987 book "How to bypass emission controls" with a c4 on the cover no less, gutting the air pump is discussed. I took mine apart and whereas they talk about the "shaft" my 91 has a different mechanical system that appears to be tamper proof.

Under low light conditions, the interior lights stay on for 20 seconds after closing the doors/hatch on my 91. I had aproblem where they wouldn't shut off. It turned out to be a relay under the dash near the glovebox that was sticking. You can hear it.

No, I'm totally new to this computer stuff. My 91 tuorquoise coupe is my first Corvette. I thought I was through with the car hobby, but it's in my blood. I never really considered a Vette, but in the year and a half I've owned mine, well my wife says I'm obsessed. I say I'm living my dream.I hope to learn everything there is to know about the c4. They are fascinating! Happy trails.

Amen See How to tune and modify Chevrolet fuel injection by Ben Watson pub 1997 page 39 1st paragraph for his explanation.

oh well...I suppose it wouldn't be a whole lot different than the short runner lt1 style manifolds offered by some of the other manufacturers anyway. Besides, the l98 manifold is so kickass looking, who would want to change it? Think I'll go with the tpis large tube runners, base and finish my plenum porting job next time it's off if the bbk is dead in the water.

Has anyone checked out the new bbk intake to be released soon for the tpi? It's amazing to me(course I'm easily amazed) that new products are still being developed for this motor. Looks funky . Iam considering one once I find out if the #'s are really there.

for what it's worth, i talked with bob at tpis as i have several of their products on my car including their level III chip. he said "put em on. you might have to dropthe fuel pressure a touch (i'm pushing 48# now), the o2 sensor won't even notice the difference"

accel lists their injectors at 24# 85-93 26# 94-96. My car is mild mod. w\no cats flowmasters ,tpis III chip TCI and all the little stuff. 13.8@102. If the injectors fit, will they affect perf.? ECM? O2sens? I can have them for free.
