It is a Short Barrel Rifle in terms of the ATF stamp.

I see, whereas the Rossi Ranch Hand is produced as a handgun because it comes that way from the factory.

"The original gun was a Winchester Model 1892 rifle with a shortened stock and barrel. Under today’s legal restrictions, gunsmithing one requires BATFE approval and a $200 fee. Because the Ranch Hand is produced at the factory as handgun, it is free from such requirements."

True duals, a small bump in compression, warmer than stock cam, and a some cylinder head clean up. Hopefully you'll have a nice little bump up in power from stock. Is the engine together already?

Thanks Ron. Love the new ride. New barbershop in town with a couple of cuties cutting hair. Does a #1 ring a bell? At least I can grow it back. Congrats on joining the ranks of the unemployed by choice.

I think if it hold the hood up, it's working.
Jason at vette2vette just bought a '91 strut from me in a package deal so he should have one if you're interested. I swapped it out for a chrome one at the time.

Not necessarily mine, but just another point of view and maybe some food for thought about all the hoopla surrounding the last voyage of the Endeavor.

She retired from the police at age 51 because of "injury", does she have no pension, medical coverage?
Sad, but people find themselves into a situation and then want a bailout. Does her daughter have a job, husband, child support, welfare check? And on and on.... Pass the hat.

Vette2Vette coming over today to pick up my stash of parts for the '91. Worth it to me to unload them as a package deal rather than try to make a few extra bucks dealing with ads, phone calls, shipping, penny pinchers....

Greetings from Lafayette, Co. near Boulder where my eldest daughter bought a 2 bedroom 1940's fixer upper. So me being a retired wood butcher, I drove the '91 Caprice wagon out, loaded with furniture, stuff and tools. Also fly fishing gear. We're heading to the mountains after work today for some fun.

Cool vid. Looks exciting. Just wondering, how wide is the road and it looks like some dips and humps the way the suspensions are moving or is that just the speed?

50th anniversary of the 700. Is that a noise suppressor?
I know they make sense in today's world for hunting and target shooting. May even be legal in some states or is it a federal law?

America's middle class has had a much higher standard of living than the rest of the world for a long time.
Now that the term "global economy" is reality, coupled with rising energy prices, America's middle class will continue to decline until some sort of parity is reached with other nations.
Not a big fan of the Wall St. protesters, but they do have a point.

What a ship. 215 years old. Paul Revere forged the copper bolts for her. 21" thick hull. 50 guns, 32 of which fired 24 pound balls. Amazing.

Note the special model tag on the 4th pic. from last.
It's an Alfa Romeo Spyder "Graduate" commemorating the car Dustin Hoffman drove in the movie of the same name.
Also, I had to comment to the owner of the car in the last pic. who was obviously of Italian descent with a Yiddish worded license plate.
No Lambo's at the show for some reason.

Why do I feel self-conscious? Well, if no one bought the new ones, there wouldn't be any used ones, or something like that.

Stunning! Moving from a C5 to a C6 isn't as great a leap technologically as from the C4, but aside from the rock solid feel and seamless power what really has me entranced is the styling.
I love the C4 style.
In my eye though, I see in the C6, especially the wide body, the styling features of the C1, C2 and C3 from the grill to the fenders to the tail lights taken and transformed into a 21st century icon.
May the C7 take it a step further. Big shoes to fill IMO.

BTW I was amazed. My new baby got a lot of attention at the Lisle show. Took a second in class and I'm not even a member of the host club.

I am still shocked, Joe. Needless to say, whoever purchases your former 91 is going to get an amazing car.

They dropped their asking price $1k.
I have over $25k in receipts on that car not to mention my purchase price. There was one small developing issue with it involving..., well PM me if you really want to know.

I will say though that the stock seats and cockpit feel in the '91 are hard to beat.

When I sat in a new ZR1 last week, my first thought was that GM just doesn't understand seats.

I also asked the GM marketing guy why their commercials for the new 427 Vert are done on a racetrack when they don't offer a rollbar option. You can't actually go on the track without one.

Seat backs are fine. Seat bottoms, not so much. I'll either get used to them or eventually do something about it.

Yeah, no more trips to Great Lakes Dragaway, except as a spectator. I bet Beech Bend, in Bowling Green would let me make a few passes. Their rule book is missing a few pages.

I put 600 break in miles on the GS so it was time for a stretch of the legs on the highway. Did the 400 mi. round trip to Effingham to see Mike Yagers collection and pick up a couple items. I met a guy there that had just picked up his new 427 vert. at Mac Mulkin Chev. in New Hampshire and was driving it back to his home in California. The place is definitely worth a visit.
