I know this is going to sound peculiar, but what does the white smoke smell like? Does your car have an automatic transmission?

I don't know the particular configuration of Corvette automatics, but many automatics draw operating vacuum from one of the cylinders. There is a valve that prevents transmission fluid from back flowing into that cylinder. If this valve fails, fluid can get into the cylinder and burn white. Transmission fluid smells different from coolant.

In 2001, I registered on the 40th website and quickly noticed a decline. I even stopped visiting that site years ago. Hopefully, someone can whip it into shape and return it to its former glory.

This is my first post here. I gave up on CF hoping people here will be more polite and courteous. Now, how do I get an avatar and signature photograph?
