I am out of room so the 56 would go out to the car trailer.... when Doc heard my ideas she put the big kibosh on that idea.... going to clean up the shop now that the C5 is done and ready for a tune.... it is running and sounds good.... I do not have the MAF plugged in so it only idles around.... should be all ready to drive by the end of this month... I don't think it will be top down weather do you?

Morning Gris... we had our first snow of the season last night... 3 to 4 inches but enough that I got out the JD with the snow blower and cleaned off the driveway... snow is over but 30 to 40 mph winds predicted for the rest of the day...

the whole gang is here and as usual it is barely controlled chaos.... food food food.... it is no time to go on a diet...

We are having TG today... not everyone could make it by yesterday.... the Butterball is in the oven...and the pies in the fridge.... cold cloudy and winter is coming tomorrow...

it's black Friday but that does not inspire to shop... I shop whenever I need something.... but I know they have some good deals going on.... ok maybe I will browse Amazon....

Doc made the party mix last night.... bags and bags of it... I know because I had to run to the store for the Cheezit crackers that she forgot to get.... I have been snacking heavily.... taking the C5 down to the repair shop to get the old fuel drained out and new fuel pump put in.... seems like it has been a long haul on this Vette rescue...

Morning fellow travelers ... sunny bright day with 30 to 40 mph winds and gusts to 60.... hey hey at least the sun is out.... Thanksgiving is in constant flux here as travel times and a small herd of 1 to 4 year old kids can get sick on a moments notice.... right now it is set for Friday but we will see... Doc says next year it is on Thursday and if you can make it fine if not fine..... I have seen the great bird in the freezer so I'm pretty sure we will get fed sometime...

yes I have to do the floors..... I picked up the carpet of leaves in the backyard yesterday... I cleaned the interior of the Corvette... I am farming out the things that need done next to get it running... fuel pump, dump old fuel and a tune.... tune isn't until Dec 16th.... I am not a patient man... VB it was a very old designed kit from Vortech made in the early 2000's. Used a liquid intercooler and everything was on the opposite side from where the newer kits are located now. So the Alt was on the passenger side.... a belt had shredded the teeth and my cousin went into fix it years ago and could not get the bracket loose to get the belt out. It required taking off about everything on the front of the motor to get to the bolt that held it on.... so it sat of 7 years until he passed and gifted it to me.

I took it all off and went back stock.... except for the exhaust.... long tube SS headers and 3" all the way to the back with muffler delete..... yeah....

yes I did and what a mess it was... but baby is just waiting for the old gas to go and a tune which is set for Dec 16... I know the tuner is that far out on work...plus some vacation time I guess.... that will cost me a Grand by the time it is done. So it will be on the road just in time for the first blizzard.....

That is why it is good to live where no one wants to go.... You can still get a very nice house for 500K out here... like new type house... I would say $250 to 300K is the average cost of a home in our area.

Matt I am thinking this kit will only be used by someone who has the ability to fabricate a blower set up on a project car. It was a very poor design for a C5 car and I am not recommending it be used on a C5.... not with the kits from A&A and East Coast Supercharging being as well engineered as they are. I am selling this for parts mainly.

got the deck furniture put away and some other things done yesterday today going to try and bleed the brakes on the C5 to at least have some pedal..... put on the new wheels and tires and set baby on the ground.....

Went in and did some work on Daughters house yesterday then to Saturday night church which had baptism's.... they drag out the horse tanks and fill them up with water and dunk them good to wash away the old and welcome in the new....

Gris you gotta be careful.... Doc was tripped by one of her little kids at school last week and she went down hard. Kid did not do it on purpose but she bruised some ribs and that is never fun...

What winter coming?? That ain't working for me... I like this weather....been out chopping up a tree the went over this spring in the windstorm..... lot of work.... can't imagine what it would be like with out a chainsaw.....

finishing up steps for daughter and waiting on the chrome wheels to come in from Tire Rack. Originally had bought them from an outfit in Lubbock Texas but they backordered. I looked and TR had them in stock and $300 bucks cheaper due to free freight and they threw in the lug nuts.....chrome of course.... tires are bought locally.... went with the Michelins AS something or other..... looked for cheaper but wanted run flats out here in the middle of nowhere....

hoping for your continued recovery Grisman...... got the tranny oil changed on the C5. Not much to it. They use Dexron III ATF in the manual transmission... I know, weird..but that is what the big orange sticker on the tranny says to do... and GM knows best right?
