I put new brighter bulbs in on the C5 and last night used the garage door to aim them... they are not LED bright but a lot better than the stock ones were.... then we went for a late night drive with the top down as the warm summer air flowed around us..... ahhhh....

The Corvette ran over 400 miles with no problems .... the lumbar is not working on the seat so have to fix that...

....good morning my fellow travelers..... spent the weekend in KC at the in-laws place... Doc's sister and their new home they built.... its amazing what a couple of million dollars will build these days.... always nice to see how the other half lives..... we went to a Musical at the Starlite theater about the life of Neil Diamond called A Beautiful Noise... of course it featured all his songs or most of them anyway there are so many.... its an outdoor venue and the evening was perfect as we all participated in the music... enjoyable evening...

now we are back to reality...... and I am mowing the lawn.... get back to reality Guru's.... or not....

I loved that car but this one is a vast improvement over the C2 mechanically.... but the C2 will remain my favorite Corvettes..... nothing looks as good as they do....

...so the Sump Man cometh.... and he taketh away... our hard earned money..... by the time he was done and put in a big dehumidifier downstairs for the basement which needed it it.... I was out 5 Large.... that is stupid money but he had to replace all the innards and the back up battery and whatever else.... I got 14 years out of the first set so I shouldn't complain... but I will..... they are supposed to have yearly inspections along the way... I think we did that once.... so pay me now or pay me later.... I paid later...

4" of rain last night.... the sump system would not come on and was getting ready to flood the basement when I found a manual switch that would run the sump and drain it. So for 2 hours I sat there manually running the sumps.... way better than all that in the basement again... Sump man be here Monday....
