I do not know what brake pkgs came on the 65 396, So I can not say the ones at rock auto are not for a 65 396. But they are all center pin. I have the dual pin j56 calipers, I wish they would work, could save me a lot of money. Thanks for your help.

Yes, not cheap, But I have the stock rebuilt J56 calipers so cheaper than replacing eveything

Thanks for the info guys but I jumped the gun a little,
After a little research I found out what I have are the J56
brakes. So now I have to decide what to do.

I may have not looked deep on regular corvette parts web site, But I can not find the L shaped pads for the four piston caliber. can anyone help?
