Morning guys... Pretty morning in Wisconsin. Sunny and 68 at 9:30. Headed to high of the upper 70s - low 80s.

Played golf yesterday, beautiful course, not so beautiful golf, but as they say, "A bad day of golf is better than a good day at work"...not that I was going to work, but whatever.

Today, not a lot on the agenda. Maybe go into town and see the touristy things and a trip down to the lake.

Tomorrow Rosie and I will get up a little earlier than we have been and hit the road back to KC. Then on home on Saturday.

Tommy, part of my golfing woes is because my back has been tight, not painful like yours, but enough discomfort that it affects my golf swing. Hope the doctor figures something out for you.

Hey guys, nice rain overnight here. That was great, except, Roberts C8 alarm went off 4 times. After a little research this morning, Robert found out that others have had similar issues, one guy saying basically, "if you leave it parked outside, and a fly lands on the windshield in the right (wrong) place, it can set off the alarm." So we determined that the heavy rain shower probably set it off.

Spent some time wiping the Corvettes down this morning. Getting ready to go up to the pool for a while.

The golf yesterday was good. Not that we played that well, but that the time out playing was good and the course very well maintained. Fun course to play. The plan is to play a different course tomorrow afternoon.

Morning guys.... slept better last night, stopped in at the main office to let them know about the situation with the AC. Sent a man right out and he fiddled with the unit and it was better.

Today, Robert and I are going to golf at a course about 10 minutes away. Other than that, not much planned.

Staying in Tamarack resort. Near a Walmart off exit 89.

It's a pretty morning here in Wis Dells. Mid 60s headed to a predicted high of upper 70s and not too awful humidity. With that said, I didn't sleep well at all last night, the room was hot... and not in a the good way. I tossed and turned most of the night. We did set thermostat to 66 and the ground floor is nice and comfortable (Geri thinks it's almost too cool), but that cool air is not making its' way up to the bedrooms. Robert and Geri have a fan in their room, I don't know if that helps much or not... thinking moving the air has to help.

Not a lot planned for today, Playing it by ear.

Hey guys, greetings from Wisconsin Dells. Don't know if it is normal, but a very comfortable upper 70s here after noon.

Long drive yesterday, a little over 500 miles from KC. After 400 the day before, and getting up early (5am) for the drive here, we were pretty tired and slept well last night. Haven't done much at all today, just have church after while.

Probably hit the pool for a little before we get ready to go to church. Robert's C8 is a keeper. Haven't got to drive it yet, but will before the week is out.

Nice rains overnight and much cooler today. Still threatening some moisture.

A little work in the shop today, then packing up 007 for our trip to Wisconsin. Leaving in the morning for KC. then Friday on up to Wisconsin. that will be a new state for Rosie.

Hey guys, warm again today before the tide turns to more favorable weather. 80s predicted for the next several days after todays mid 90s. too bad we won't be around to enjoy those as we are heading east, then north later this week.

As mentioned before, we are meeting up with a friend from that 'other" forum to spend the week. He just informed us yesterday that he traded both his C5 and his '13, 427 roadster for a 2021 vert, and will be driving that one over on the vacation. Going to get to drive my first C8.

Well, waiting for our financial planner to get here and review where we are.

Hot here the last few days, 100+ for many hours each day. Luckily, humids have been done from where they were.

Finished up a couple big projects last week. Winding down the bigger projects for the summer. We are headed north east on Thursday. All the way up to Wisconsin. Meeting up with a Corvette guy I know from the 'other' forum, his significant pther, her sister and hubby. Looking forward to the break.

Hey guys, been pretty busy the last few days. Monday and Tuesday, the weather was pretty nice mid and upper 80s, light breezes. Monday evening it was perfect weather for playing golf. Our team won.

Today, I have my monthly massage and this afternoon we will be installing a kitchen island that we built. Also have a lumber truck delivering lumber for a bed I need to build for my #4 granddaughter. Number 3 daughter, just had her divorce finalized and is moving into a new house. So I have some furniture pieces to make for her.

Got to get ready for my appointment.

Hey guys, unseasonably cool here today as well. Not complaining. Not much going on.

Hey guys, I did get the pickup and Caddys' oil changed yesterday, then gave both a bath...much needed as both were covered in bug splatter on the fronts.

#2 had us over for supper and fireworks. GGD didn't mind the fireworks all week, but last night must have just been an overload for her as she cowered in her daddys' or grandmas' laps for the entire evening.

This morning I've been out in the shop working on a few things, prepping for assembly of a set of cabinets destined to become a kitchen island.

Very comfortable weather the last couple days, low 80s yesterday and light breezes, today low 80s, cloudy and chance for some more rain...we'll take it.

A local restaurant is celebrating their 31st anniversary of existence today, so we went up to eat there. Walked in and sat down, and a lady, whom I've done computer work before, asked if I was still doing that. Yea....some, what's the problem? She goes into an explanation of what's happening and what she wants done, complaining about the guy that set it up for her, blah, blah. Then asks my opinion, and I give it to her, then she says she's going to buy this program and try to get it running. I say something about trying to use those three programs I installed on her other computer to clean it up..."Yea, I don't want those on my computer" and I tell her, "Well there's nothing I can do for you then without those programs." Well, I'll see what I can do, if I have problems I may have to call you." I'm thinking, you call, and I'm going to tell you "I don't have time."

Monthly visit to the holistic dr this morning, I gained a couple pounds, but otherwise doing well.

Back this afternoon, Leo and i went over to the town to the east and fit and installed the window frames on the outside, three frames, three hours..... sounds easy, but was doing them standing on the top of 10' ladders.

Tomorrow, I need to change oil in the pickup and the Caddy. #2 has invited us over for pork butt in the evening, then out to watch the fireworks.

Hey guys, long days here. Not quite as hot but still humid.

Last two days Leo and I worked on tearing out an old kitchen island and installing new cabinets that we built and a new countertop.

Like most tearouts, I wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Came in under my estimate...they should be happy.

Slept in until about 8am. Woke up about 5am to goi tio the bathroom, and it was raining cats and dogs at that time. Continued raining and is still spitting. Need to go out and check how much we got, but no matter how much, it was much needed and we are appreciative.

Not much planned for the day. Thought I would go out and golf, but not sure we'll do that with the rain...might be too wet.

Morning guys... Going to be another hot and humid day here.

I learned the same thing Tommy. As a matter of fact, I usually check there first now. But I also get 5% back on anything I buy from them through my amazon CC. So I always take that into account.

Got a cabinet install to do this morning. Then installing some window trim this afternoon. Not looking forward to that one as it's going to be upper 90s and humid...Got Leo here to help though.

Hey guys, warm again today, but not as. still feels a bit sticky, but nothing we can't handle.

Got two jobs ready to install, one for tomorrow and one early next week.

Heard through the grapevine that the windows were finally going in at the church in the next town over that we've been waiting on to finish that job up. Only been working on that since November. Wish we could get that one done and out of my hair.

Played Mens' night and our team tied for first got my entry money back.

Today we have to run to the 'city' and pick up some materials for the next project.

Hey guys, been a busy morning. Pretty hot and muggy, but needed to wash Rosies' Caddy...it had bugs all over the front, so, I got that done and Leo came by after church and we made a plan to go golf before it got any warmer.

Breezy, but not horribly hot, but quit after nine. Leo tells me his legs feel like jello today.

Hey guys, busy Sad turd day. Worked in the shop a while.

Got news that Leo finished his half marathon in 46th place...out of about 2500, 9th in his age division. proud of him.

We have had GGD this past week, take her back Monday.

Listed Leos' CTS last night about 11pm. Within 10 minutes I had several PMs. Beings we had to be in the 'city' most of the day, I told them I'd let them know when I was home and within an hour the first guy came by and test drove and bought the car for full asking price.

Yea!!!

A nice, cool morning here. Sixty six now, but headed toward the mid-upper 90s.

Leo's headed west to run a half marathon in the mountains, so I'm going to work on some things after we get back from the city. Got a few errands to run over there.

Hey guys, busy day here. Got a little accomplished in the shop. Warmer today than yesterday and still muggy. Warmer yet tomorrow and through the next several days.100+ temps predicted for next week.

Leo is off tomorrow to Colorado to do another half marathon. Starts at 11,000 feet elevation and all down hill to a finish at 8,500... we'll see what the high elevation does to his time. Heck I have a tough time breathing at 7,500 when we would go out to Pagosa Springs, can't imagine running 13.2 miles at those elevations, really thin air.

Hey guys, drizzly here and cool today.

We found a nice Cadillac CTS to replace the one Leo is driving. Found it in Wichita while we were in KC this past weekend. Drove home through Wichita Monday to look at it. One owner, 2012 with 43k on the clock. Little old lady owned it, went into a rest home so was able to get it. Not perfect as in a couple dings where she bumped something. But should be a good car for Leo for quite some time.

Working in the shop today enjoying the cool temps.

Hey guys, back in KC by noon All day yesterday was spent moving GDs stuff into her new apartment, and getting her settled in. She still has stuff to put up and away.

Number 1 and hubby are having his folks over for steaks tonight to celebrate Fathers Day.

We’ll head home tomorrow. Going home through Wichita as I’ve located a possible replacement for Leo’s Caddy CTS. Another CTS, but a few years newer and a lot less miles. We’ll see how it goes.

Gris, yes, she got her undergrad degree there, then started her grad program at the University of Ill, Champaign. But her boyfriend/fiancé was still in Fayetteville working. So, after a year she decided to return to UofA to finish her MFA. When she did she couldn't find a place large enough for all her stuff. Now that school is out, they found a larger place and is ready for her stuff that's been in storage the last year.

I've got a Massage appointment this morning. Then prepping for the trip tomorrow.

Hey guys, delivered GGD yesterday and will get her again in a couple weeks.

Got home and did some work in the shop. Today Leo and I did a little job fixing up, by replacing a bunch of trim on a lawn building. The shed was built probably 25 years ago by the homeowner ( read that as nothing square or plumb), anyway the sprinkler system just pours water on the two front corners rotting them out. So we got to replace a bunch of trim. Not really fixing it totally right, but we did what they wanted and it looks way better.

Tomorrow, I have my scheduled monthly massage at 10am then We will find some work to keep us busy until later when we must get the enclosed trailer out and ready to head east Thursday morning.

Moving GD #1 stuff from KC down to Fayetteville as she got an apartment for next year and school.

Tomorrow we are on the road to take GGD back.

Morning guys.... it still is morning as I start writing this (barely). Had almost an inch of rain last night, we'll take every drop. Mid 60s now (almost noon) and headed to mid 70s this afternoon, albeit, a humid mid 70s, some thing we are NOT used too.

Nothing on the agenda today, might go out to the shop in a bit and plane some boards.

Hey guys, up early and off to the 'city' where Rosie, #2, two Grandsons (Leo and GGD daddy) and GGD did a 5k. My knees and hips just won't let me walk like that, so took some publicity pictures for the group sponsoring the event. Leo and Rosie won awards for their age groups #2 should have, but after she finished, she waited at the finish line and walked across with Rosie (pushing GGD in a stroller) a second time and her magnetic timing device changed her finish time to the second crossing. Oh well. Then picked up some groceries and came home. GGD was worn out, crabby and ready for a nap.

Time now to get ready for church.

Leo and I went out to golf before it got real hot today. 70 when we started 86 when we finished. Got home and FedEx Freight calls saying he's got 2 pallets for me. My cabinet parts for 4 different jobs.

Met him at school and unloaded the pallets and moved over to the storage shed.

Looking to reach a high today of mid 90s. We'll try to stay out of the sun.

Well, it was a day that was the largest offensive, war has seen. Thousands of ships and watercraft hundreds of thousands of troops hit the beaches of Normandy France. Ten of thousands never made it to, or off the beach. 80 years ago...

Weather here is pretty nice. Low 60s now, but headed to the mid 80s and breezy.

We have to go see our holistic Dr. over in Colorado.

It has been a whirlwind of a week. Haven't got as much done as I had planned, but had some things come up that had to be done, so my plans went on the back burner.

Pride month.... BS month. I'm all for everyone being what they are, but shoving those choices down our throats, and then racking us over the coals because we don't agree or we say something about our pride and we are a white supremist. TOTAL BULLSH!T.

Hey guys, day started off cloudy, breezy and cool. I put a butt on the grill a little after 8, so been baby sitting that.

While that was going on (still is), I was out in the shop doing a few things. Rosie and GGD are at the pool. I'm trying to watch the Royals, they've been in a downward slide here in the last week and have given up 2 runs late to fall behind, they have one more chance to come back.

Hey guys, busy day here. Did a job I've been putting off because it's a little intimidating. I was not sure what it was going to end up being.

Once Leo and I got started, the first step took considerably longer than I was hoping, but after figuring out how it was wired, it was easy-peasy. A job I was figuring might take us through Friday, we finished by 2pm. Not sure why Ii was intimidated with the job...I guess the unknown.

Came home and started on a countertop for one of the jobs coming up a little later this summer. Might seem a bit out of order, but we are treading water awaiting materials to show up, so doing what we can to fill the time.

A little warmer today, upper 80s and breezy. Had about .3 rain yesterday and looking at maybe some more rain later this evening into tomorrow morning....bring it on.

Beautiful morning here in SW Kansas. Mid 60s and a little breeze. Washed the pickup yesterday, spent about 3 hours cleaning it up. Was pretty packed with bugs on the front from our trip to KC last week and all kinds of bird poop from sitting down at the storage shed while we cleaned it last week. Added a coat of ceramic detail spray to make it slicker than snot.

Not sure what the plan is for today, maybe work on a computer for a our former priest, now retired in the 'city'. Maybe watch a little of the 500.

Morning guys... MIA yesterday, left fairly early for my dental appointment. New dentist and the hygienist was really good. My teeth are so clean.

After we got back, Leo and I finished cleaning and rearranging the storage shed. Purged a lot of stuff and installed some shelving to make things more accessible and actually see what I have available. Today we will clean up around the outside, and that job will be done...for a while until I junk it up again.

It has been pretty windy here. Very windy yesterday and already blowing hard this morning. Low 90s yesterday but just mid 70s today. I'll take the wind with the low 70s, rather than the 90s and windy... or even not windy.

Morning guys...Up and around early, had a chiropractor appointment and back already. Had a nice rain shower last night about a 1/4", very welcomed. Sunny now and low 50s, headed to upper 70s.

Leo and Rosie are in GC. Leo has a dental appt. and Rosie went with him as they are talking to the dentist about possibility of doing something about getting his teeth straightened. Rosie is there to make sure Leo gets everything straight.

I'm headed over to the shed to continue cleaning.
