the two wires make up the circuit... it's rather simple, but if the wires are apart, they don't honk... bogus. Thank you for the reply. However, my car only has one sensor on each side. There are no bottom parts. The sensor on the left has one wire. The sensor on the right has two wires. It appears that there should be another sensor on each side, but I am not sure. This may be the problem?

I just purchased a '90 convertible. I noticed that the horns were disconnected. When I plugged them in, they blow constantly.
I have replaced the relays. No help. I have removed the horn buttons on the steering wheel and found one sensor on each side. It appears that there should be two on each side. The right side has two wires connected to the same sensor. One of these wires appears to be connected to the left sensor. Can anyone provide any assistance? I would greatly apprecaite your comments and suggestions. Thank you.
