I know of 2 guys that have built motors based on that 400 block. Sounds like you're gonna have a big cube torque monster when you're done!

I'm having a problem with my Bose speaker/amps staying on after shutting off the radio. Even if I turn off the ignition, I can still hear static/whine from all 4 speakers. I pulled the fuse to keep the battery from draining, the same fuse that powers the courtesy lights, DIC, and lots of other stuff.
Any quick fix suggestions? Sending in all 4 amps is not an option, as I was never impressed with the Bose system to begin with. Or do you think it's just time to finally bite the bullet and go all aftermarket?
